United Way of Greater Greensboro’s Family Success Center 2 at YWCA Greensboro offers a family-friendly one-stop-shop to access services that help people along their journey to financial stability and career success. This United Way-led collaborative supports the entire household in reaching their goals – whether they are in education, career, family & relationships, health & wellness, or financial. The Family Success Center’s strengths-based approach to service delivery empowers individuals and families to overcome barriers and progress towards their goals

Programming
Services/supports include, but are not limited to:
- Help Building a Family-Sustaining Career
- Strategies for Saving & Managing Money
- Life Skills & Tools for Success
- GED Preparation & Educational Resources
- Health & Wellness Supports
- And much more!!
Members are encouraged to share their own interests to enhance program offerings. Programming specific to children and youth is also offered to enrolled families.
Long-Term Coaching and Support
- Each member and their household are assigned a Success Coach to help develop action plans to overcome challenges and achieve their goals
- Coaches support FSC2 members their entire time in the program (no time limit)
- Service coordination with partners and other community agencies is provided to help meet needs
Childcare/Afterschool Care
- Childcare is provided for children of members actively enrolled in the FSC2 program who are onsite participating in scheduled classes, workshops, coaching sessions, meetings, and/or events
- Afterschool and summer day camp options can be arranged per request with approved partners (when resources are available)
- Coordination and support with other childcare needs can be provided per request (when resources are available)
Membership Criteria
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be resident of greater Greensboro
- Agree to work with a Success Coach to build goal plans and complete various assessments to measure progress throughout the membership
Membership Expectations
- Attend scheduled activities regularly and be on time
- Be committed to your goal plans and work toward them to the best of your ability
- Communicate with your assigned Coach and set up consistent meetings
- Respect yourself and others at all times
Hours of Operation:
- The YWCA Greensboro is open to the public Monday – Friday, between the hours of 9:00am – 5:00pm. The FSC2 program offers extended hours of operation (as needed) to accommodate the schedules of our members
- During these hours classes, workshops, activities, and meetings will be available to members enrolled and actively participating in the program
