Kim Diop began a second career as a real estate Broker in Greensboro in 2012, after spending 27 years in the telecommunications industry as a Business Operations Manager, Project Manager, and Industrial Engineer. Kim received her BS from N.C. A&T State University and her MBA from Wake Forest University. She has served as an Engineering Explorer’s advisor, and is a graduate of Impact Greensboro. She is passionate about women’s empowerment, racial justice, and immigration issues. Kim rejoined the board this year, after previously serving 6 years on the YWCA Greensboro Board of Directors, where she served as Secretary, Vice-President, and three terms as President. In 2013 Kim was awarded the YWCA Greensboro Barbara Walker lifetime achievement award. She is involved with the YWCA on local, national, and global level.
