Meredith Krasnecky
Meredith Krasnecky has served on the YWCA of Greensboro board since early 2019.

She currently works for Lincoln Financial Group, where she is involved with the Women’s Leadership Group.  Prior to joining Lincoln, Meredith worked in Human Resources in the manufacturing industry.  Meredith holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from UNC-Chapel Hill and a Master of Business Administration degree from UNC-Greensboro.  She firmly believes that we need to make the community in which we live the best it can be.

In her free time, Meredith enjoys spending time with family and friends, enjoying the great

S. Camille Payton, Interim Board President

Camille Payton chaired the Workers’ Compensation section of the North Carolina Bar Association (2010-2011). Payton, a shareholder of Ward Black Law in Greensboro, headed the organization of 685 lawyers from across the state. As section chair, she presided over meetings of the section council, which is the governing board of the section.  Payton recently co-authored and published the Workers’ Compensation Forms Manual.

Camille Payton has been practicing law since 1993. A native of Kinston, North Carolina, Payton graduated from UNC Chapel Hill and the University of Texas before practicing law in Greensboro. Payton has extensive trial experience. She is proud to take up the cause of people who need help dealing with large insurance companies or other corporations.  Payton serves on the investments committee at Shiloh Baptist Church, and in her free time enjoys shopping and dining out.


Stephen Young
Manager of Leadership Analytics, Center for Creative Leadership
Stephen Young has served on the YWCA of Greensboro board since 2018. Currently, he serves as the HR & Governance chair. Previously, he served on the HR & Governance committee as a community volunteer. Prior to joining the YWCA Board of Greensboro, he served  on the board of Neighbor Up Brevard in Melbourne, FL. He is guided by the quote “…leave the world a little better than you found it.”

As Manager of Leadership Analytics and Senior Research Scientist at the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), Stephen uses data analytics to assist in the transformation of individuals, teams, organizations, and societies. Prior to joining CCL, Steve was a researcher with Design Interactive in Orlando, FL where he was principal investigator and/or technical lead of several U.S. Department of Defense and U.S. Department of Homeland Security R&D contracts. He holds an M.S. and Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational psychology from Florida Institute of Technology; B.A. in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Connecticut.

In his free time, Stephen enjoys reading, music, traveling and spending time with friends, family, and pets.
